Q: We are trying to plan a beach ceremony on July 2011. Unsure of date at this time. But looking at your website helped me start my research on what beaches to look at. We plan on having reception at a different location, so should we try and see how much a wedding planner could help us just on the ceremony? And what are the ranges of cost? When a friend said get a wedding planner, I shrugged and said they are way too expensive. But not quite sure how expensive. If you can please put me at ease, and give me some insight I would really appreciate it. Thank you. A: Wedding planners services range anywhere from $900 to $3000 or more depending on how simple or extravagant you want to wedding to be. It is in your best interest to locate beach wedding planners in your area and interview several of them. Ask what services are included in each one of their service packages and discuss your needs and your budget. With the economy being how it is right now I'm sure you could work something out! Q: I have been invited to a beach wedding in September? What do I wear? A: Beach Weddings are about simplicity & natural beauty. What you should wear depends on where the wedding will take place. At a resort? On the Sand? If the wedding will take place right on the beach make sure you keep it simple (simple can be elegant). Consider lightweight fabrics like Satin, Lace, Chiffon, Taffeta, etc. Flip flops are always a good choice for an "On the Sand Beach Wedding" or even barefoot why not!? |

Q: What do I need to get married in Mexico? A: First of all, you need your passport. There's also paperwork that needs to be filled out, if possible you could have your beach wedding planner take care of this for you. All Mexican States require a blood test that must be done in Mexico as the results need to be in Spanish. Lastly, you will need 4 witnesses (2 for the groom and 2 for the bride). As long as you comply with all these requirements your Marriage Certificate will be valid anywhere in the world. |
