Beach Wedding Attire

Beach Wedding Dress
What to wear for a beach wedding? THAT is the question!

Choosing your wedding dress is one of the most important things in the process of your beach wedding planning. After all, ALL eyes will be on you… and your husband-to-be of course. Long gone are the days when beach weddings HAD to be casual, you can now have a formal (or semi formal) beach wedding. But if you have your mind set on a big, fairy-tale, puffy dress with a long train, a beach wedding might not be the best idea for you. A beach wedding dress needs to be lighter & simpler, but it doesn’t mean it can’t be elegant. Halter & Strapless dresses are the most popular styles for beach weddings. Remember to stay away from heavy fabrics when choosing you wedding dress, try to go for fabrics like Satin, Lace, Chiffon, Taffeta, etc.

Shoes
Weather you’re having a casual or formal beach wedding, high-heel shoes are out of the question. Dressy Sandals, Stiletto’s, or Simply no Shoes would be more adequate.

Accessories
Remember that when it comes to beach weddings simpler & lighter is better so have this in mind when accessorizing.

Groom’s Beach Attire
Choosing the groom’s attire should be relatively easy. He doesn’t necessarily need to wear a suit or a tux. He could wear some nice slacks with a nice guayabera or aloha shirt. He could also wear a nice dressy shirt but remember to go for cotton or linen fabrics since they are light weight & fresh therefore comfy, I’m sure you don’t want the groom sweating bullets. Try to go for light beachy colors.

Shoes
The groom doesn’t necessarily have to wear dressy shoes unless he’s wearing a tux or suit otherwise sandals would be just fine.
